A social and recreational facility is usually private or semi-private. A golf course that was part of a private country club would only be open to members or guests who are accompanied by members. Of course, there are semi-private country clubs that allow some access to non-members. In addition to a golf course, a typical club might also have a restaurant, tennis, swim facilities or if located on the water, a marina.

Members of the club expect certain luxuries exclusive to their membership. Everything from furnishings in the lobby to the tabletop items in the restaurant should reflect the club’s theme and enhance the ambiance of the establishment. Such attention to detail is the expertise of Louis Wohl. With over 100 years in the hospitality business, we have helped to design and furnish numerous clubs across the continent, both private and semi-private.
